David Broyles, the owner and operator of David S. Broyles Construction, was born in Erie, Pennsylvania in 1962 and raised in southern Indiana. Immediately after high school, David joined the Marine Corps where he served 7½ years to include a tour as a Drill Instructor at MCRD here in San Diego. Following his service as a Marine, David attended the University of Southern Indiana in Evansville and received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Education.
David learned the trade of construction while attending college. In 1988, he began working for his father-in-law's construction company that focused on building upscale custom homes and residential remodels in southern Indiana. David participated in all facets of the construction process, including work site preparation, foundation construction, framing, roofing, siding, masonry, window and door installation, electrical, plumbing, finish carpentry to include installation of custom cabinets, stained trim and doors, as well as supervision of other crew members. After returning to southern California in 1993, David continued working in the construction field with the goal of building his own business.
Unlike many general contractors, David is not afraid to get his hands dirty. He works on a daily basis along with his employees and subcontractors at each project to ensure quality work and timely completion of each project. David's workmanship, attention to detail, cleanliness and reliability are the hallmarks of his company.
David currently resides with his wife, Angela, in the Rancho Bernardo area. The couple has no children, but three cats. David enjoys running, weight lifting, world travel, skiing and scuba diving.
